If you were to open a bank account in Canada in the mid 1940’s, you would be issued pass book to record all of your transactions.
This is a copy of the regulations you would have to agree to.
You may notice that there were only six of them.
The back of the pass book included some advertising as well.
The bank logo seems to include an emblem that is also included in the Vancouver Island Flag.
