Michael joined the Royal BC Museum exhibitions department in June 2015 after serving as contract project manager since 2013. He brings 25 years of museums industry experience and a history of managing award-winning exhibition projects across North America and internationally. His skills include team leadership, exhibition planning, project oversight and scheduling, interpretive planning and exhibition installation supervision. He is also well versed in contracting and tendering, management of multimedia production contracts, architectural and engineering coordination, cost estimation and budget tracking.
As head of Exhibitions, Michael provides leadership on exhibition planning, design and production as well as the development of exhibitions-related policy and procedures. He is responsible for reporting to the Royal BC Museum executive team and maintaining cross-departmental coordination for exhibitions projects.
