Archivist

I first became interested in Archives when I was a history student at UVIC, using the BC Archives reference room for my own research. I started working here in 1991 as an auxiliary employee and eventually moved into a position as archivist.

I spent many years working in the reference room before switching to the acquisition of private records and the appraisal of government records. Since 2010 I have spent most of my time working on backlog processing, descriptive standards and archival systems.

Education

BA, history, University of Victoria

Areas of Interest
