Dr. Jodi Giesbrecht joined the Royal BC Museum as Vice President of Archives, Collections and Research who oversees the research, curatorial, and collections management functions of the RBCM, in addition to the BC Archives.
Previously, Jodi was Director of Research and Head Curator at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she oversaw research and curatorial development of the CMHR’s core galleries and temporary exhibitions, as well as collections management and stewardship.
Jodi holds a PhD and MA in history from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Winnipeg.
