Jonathan Dallison

Manager, Donor Relations

Jonathan joined the Royal BC Museum in 2013, bringing with him a depth of experience in the not-for-profit sector. In a twenty-year career that has included senior development and marketing roles, he has provided strategic leadership to a range of successful philanthropic and promotional campaigns. He believes strongly in the work of the museum and archives and the value this work brings to the community, and he loves to share this passion with our donors. During Jonathan’s time with the organization, private donations have increased by 703 per cent. Continued growth is critical to our future success.

As head of Fundraising and Development, Jonathan oversees a team dedicated to the delivery of a comprehensive fund development program that includes major gifts, annual giving campaigns, grants, planned giving and all aspects of the donor cycle, from research through to cultivation, solicitation, recognition and retention. His team emphasizes a personalized, collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships, and seeks to balance traditional and new media opportunities to communicate the funding needs of the museum and archives.
