Brian has worked at the Royal BC Museum since 1984, first in the exhibits division, coordinating travelling exhibition itineraries and writing exhibition installation manuals. Then, in the public programs department, he facilitated the museum’s former province-wide Speakers Tour program and helped produce Royal BC Museum special events and exhibits in Victoria and in other BC communities.
In 2002 Brian moved to curatorial services to become manager of the ethnology collection. Since 2008 he has also coordinated Mungo Martin House rentals.
As anthropology collection manager, Brian will be caring for and organizing the collection, conducting tours and seeking ways to improve learning opportunities and public access to the museum’s anthropological collections.
